Hi Everyone,

Work has again begun and is ongoing on Middle Trail in Upper Bidwell Park.  Anyone who has ridden through there has surely had the same feelings as us at CATS and most likely let a few choice words leave their mouth as they were pushed off the gravel path into a patch of starthistle.  There is only one way to stop this madness and that is through action.  We need to email city staff in force.  If you are concerned about this please email:

This is the email for Dan Efseaff - he is the Natural Resource Manager for the City of Chico, basically the Bidwell Park President.  Also, cc the park commission in your email, as they look over Dan and will make sure we are not swept aside.  There emails are:

Please be respectful in any emails, but let your concerns be heard.  The only way they will change this is if we let them know how we feel.  We are the biggest user group in the park and we need to make our voices heard.  We at CATS have been trying, but our voices are being ignored.  We have to stand up as a user group and let them know how we feel.  Please pass the word on to your friends and lets take a stand against this travesty in Upper Park.
